Tuition Angels give students the wings to fly.

Tuesday, September 28th, 2010

School is back in full swing – and the 2010-2011 school year is off to an amazing start! St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School works hard to offer its tuition as the most affordable Catholic School tuition in the region. Nonetheless, there are a number of students whose families are unable to meet the required tuition and fee payments.

If you are in a position to help sponsor a student this school year, please contact Sister Catherine Noecker, our principal, at (864) 271-0167.

Payments may be made on any schedule that fits your budget and will be used to ensure a quality education for our students.

Help give our students the wings to fly – and help us weave a bright future!

Are you an Elder Buddy?

Sunday, September 26th, 2010

The Elder Buddy – Multi-Generational Program needs additional volunteers to mentor first grade and Kindergarten students. Our program’s goal is to create connections and multi-generational relationships among our students and community members. Over the course of the year, Elder Buddies meet with students as a group during school and on field trips, and correspond as pen-pals during time apart. For more information, contact Stacy Lazurek at (864) 242-2233, ext. 207.

523 drive

St. Anthony’s Pack 523 kicked off the year with a night at the Greenville Drive game. The outing was lead by Cubmaster Norm, Assistant Cubmaster Michael, and Pack Mom Pam. We had 13 boys attend, including some new faces. We all sang “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” in the seventh inning stretch, which we practiced before our trip. The Drive lost, but we had a great time anyway. And everyone enjoyed the fireworks show after the game. Special thanks to Serve One Process Serving for sponsoring our outing!
